Lynn Harland I am just shocked at the amount of people with chemo brain or as some call it "fog." A short time ago I joined the rest of the world and started "twittering" and  many of the people I come in contact with have  or have had cancer.  It is so sad to hear about their lack of knowledge of chemo brain.  Their symptoms are forgetfulness, lack of concentration and just plain not remembering day to day things and they don't know what is wrong.  They are scared and don't know who to turn to as a result of the doctors not telling them about chemo brain.  One man even told me he thought his cancer had spread to his brain!!  Chemo brain is not new.  It has been around ever since chemotherapy, and yet this information still is not highly publicized for all to read about.  It is frightening enough to find out you have cancer and go through treatment but to not understand one of the big side effects of chemotherapy is just sad.  As I told you before, when my husband had chemo brain neither one of us knew what was going on inside his head and we were very concerned and scared.   If we had known our lives would have been a bit easier.  Spread the word everyone about chemo brain and send them to D. Susan Hardwicke's site.......it's free and you can't beat that.  My twitter name is:  canceranswer.  Anyone interested in twittering me,  please do and I will get back to you.
